THE SMART CHOICE THAT KEEPS UP WITH INFLATION

Gadziriro/Lungiselelo Funeral Plan is a renewable product which pays a lump-sum in Zimbabwean Dollars on the death of the covered member or beneficiaries. Policyholders may increase their sum assured on a quarterly basis in line with the official inflation rate or within limits set by Zimnat.

The Product also has optional riders (vigil and tombstone) which come at an additional premium.

• Existing policy holders can migrate with dependents on their existing policy even if dependents are above 75 years.

THE POLICY COVERS

• Principal Member
• Spouse
• Children
• Parents
• Parents in law
• Extended family members

ENTRY AGE

• The maximum entry age  is 65 years for the main member, spouse and extended family members
• 75 years for parents and parents in law

 CHILDREN COVER

• Children will be covered up to the age of 23 years.
• A maximum of 4 children can be covered on a single policy.
• Children will be covered for the same amount as the main member, subject to regulatory cover limits which may apply at younger ages.
• Children above 23 years will have a separate policy

 WAITING PERIOD

• No waiting period for accidental death.
• No waiting period for existing customers who are upgrading to Gadziriro/Lungiselelo
• 3 Months waiting period for new customers

 PREMIUM PAYMENT

• Premiums are paid monthly via standing order deduction
• Someone can take over payment of premiums in the event of the premium payer passing on

 POLICY EXCLUSION

• As a consequence of war, invasion, act of foreign enemy, hostilities or war like operations (whether war has been declared or not), mutiny, riot, civil commotion, civil war, rebellion, insurrections, conspiracy siege.
• As a result of suicide (whether sane or insane) during the first 24 calendar months from the date of commencement or reinstatement.
